Start of Waverley’s spring season


Waverley opens her 2019 season with a weekend of excursions on the Clyde, before heading round the Mull of Kintyre on Monday 27th for a week of cruises in the West Highlands.

Waverley’s 2019 season begins with four traditional ‘doon the watter’ sailings from Glasgow (1000) -- on Thursday 23 May to Greenock, Largs, Rothesay and cruise to Loch Striven, on Friday 24th to Kilcreggan, Dunoon, Largs, Millport (Keppel) and cruise round the Cumbraes, on Saturday 25th to Greenock, Dunoon, Largs, Rothesay and cruise round Bute, and on Sunday 26th to Greenock, Kilcreggan, Dunoon, Blairmore for cruise up Loch Long and Loch Goil.

The paddler gives a public sailing round the Mull of Kintyre to Oban on Monday 27th, then to Kyle of Lochalsh on Tuesday 28th, Portree and Uig on 29th, then back to Oban on the 30th for three days of cruises, before returning to the Clyde on Monday 3 June.
