    SATURN

ISLE OF MULL
Coach and cruise Gourock, Dunoon,
Oban, Colonsay and return

Participants on this outing assembled at Gourock in time for the 08:20 crossing to Dunoon by MV Saturn.  On arriving at Dunoon, we transferred to a West Coast Motors coach for the journey to Oban.  On the way to Oban, a comfort break was taken at Inverary on what turned out to be a lovely winters morning with a flat calm Loch Fyne stretching before us.

At Oban, the party joined Isle of Mull in good time for her sailing to Colonsay.  During the journey we were served an excellent lunch in the ship’s forward dining area.  Although officially a non-landing cruise, several energetic members of the party made a quick dash ashore for a photograph at Colonsay.
