These are the Terms of Sale which apply to your purchase of goods from the Clyde River Steamer Club Online Shop. Reference to we, us, our, means the Clyde River Steamer Club. Reference to you and your, means the person ordering items from our website.

By placing an order for items on this website, you agree to be bound by the most current version of the Terms of Sale. Any changes to our terms and conditions shall be recorded and notified in the Website News section of the website. We reserve the right to change the Terms of Sale at any time.

Description and Pricing of Items

The description and price of items for sale will be as shown on the website at the time you place your order. All prices are shown in UK pounds sterling. The price shown for items includes packing and postage charges for delivery to addresses within the UK. Additional charges for delivery overseas will be shown.
Every effort will be made to ensure that prices shown on the website are accurate at the time of purchase. If an error is discovered prior to despatch of your order, Clyde River Steamer Club will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order.

Ordering and Payment

All items are offered subject to availability at the time of ordering. If on receipt of your order the goods are out of stock, Clyde River Steamer Club will inform you and refund any sum that has been paid by you for the unavailable goods. The information displayed is considered as an invitation to purchase, not as a confirmed offer for sale. The contract is confirmed upon supply of items.
The Clyde River Steamer Club is under no obligation to accept any order.

The Clyde River Steamer Club uses PayPal to process online payment for orders – including new membership subscriptions and renewal of membership subscriptions. Paypal allows us to safely process your credit card payments and complete the financial transactions as securely as possible. The Clyde River Steamer Club is not liable for any unauthorised access to information supplied by you.
When you place an order through PayPal, the details of your order, and your Name and Address details will be sent to the Clyde River Steamer Club by email, to allow us to process your order. These details will be retained and managed in line with our Privacy Policy.

As a Club policy, alternative means of ordering and paying will continue to be offered to Club members by means of downloadable order forms for printing and submission with a cheque to cover the cost. Use of cheques by the major banks will continue to be monitored and this option may be withdrawn at anytime.

Delivery of Items Ordered

We will attempt to dispatch any item(s) you order within 30 days of receipt of your order. However, as we rely solely on volunteer effort from Club members to manage and process orders from our on-line shop, there may be occasions when this timescale is extended.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

The copyright of Club publications, Video and DVD products and Photographs remains with the Club. Where necessary, owners of the original source material have given the Club permission to use their material and publish it in the name of the Club.
All items offered for sale in our on-line shop are for private use/ collections only and must not be re-sold, published or distributed by any means including electronic reproduction.
