Are you for or against catamaran ferries?

MV Alfred leaving Ardrossan for Brodick: has her owner, Andrew Banks, discovered something that CalMac and CMAL have yet to learn?

Join the big catamaran debate by attending CRSC’s Zoom meeting on Wednesday 13 September at 7pm.

World-renowned catamaran ferry designer Stuart Ballantyne joins forces with Scottish ferries guru Roy Pedersen to present the case for procuring catamarans for west coast ferry routes.

Can we learn from catamaran ferry services in other parts of the globe? Has MV Alfred saved CalMac’s bacon on the Arran run? Should CMAL be looking at catamarans as an alternative to mono-hulled ferries? Is there a case for running catamarans to Islay and Mull?

The debate continues!

ALL WELCOME.

‘Doors open’ from 6.30pm. Entry is on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Attendance is limited to 100.
