Annual General Meeting

18Apr2018

The AGM, giving members an opportunity to assess the current health of the Club, will be followed by a talk given by John Newth on how the annual Review is compiled and produced.

From 7.30pm until 9.15pm

At Jurys Inn

Jamaica Street, Glasgow G1 4QG

Please note that the AGM is held on the third Wednesday of April (not the second as is customary for CRSC's other winter meetings). The business part of the meeting will be followed by a short talk by John Newth, longstanding compiler of the annual Review.

Over the years the CRSC Review has become highly respected not just among ship enthusiasts but also marine professionals. But compiling and producing a detailed record of shipping activity on the west of Scotland is a mammoth task. John will explain some of the challenges.

This meeting is the last of CRSCs 2017-18 winter calendar. Please arrive early - not just to get a good seat but also to socialise in the ante-room on the first floor of Jurys Inn, where photographs are available for purchase.

Entry is free and non-members are welcome.
