Ship Ahoy gathers numerous ship-related organisations, professional and amateur, for a day-long display of models, photographs and historic video footage, with ample opportunity to meet people with shared interests. Among items for sale will be DVDs, books and photographs. Sumerlee Museum is 10 minutes' walk from Coatbridge Central or Sunnyside stations. Organisations participating alongside CRSC include the PSPS, Scottish Maritime Museum, West Highland Steamer Club, White Funnel Ltd (MV Balmoral), Scottish Tramway and Transport Society, the Steamship Sir Walter Scott Limited, Friends of TS Queen Mary and Caledonian MacBrayne.
