Eric Schofield opens our winter programme at the Maldron Hotel with a presentation devoted to the history of small ferryboats tendering between ship and shore on Scotland’s western seaboard - a fondly remembered but widely overlooked aspect of our west coast shipping heritage. PLEASE NOTE the new start time and venue for our winter meetings. We advise everyone to arrive as early as possible so that you can familiarise yourself with the Maldron and peruse the goodies on offer in the Club Shop, open from 6pm at the back of our comfortable new meeting room on the first floor.
