In a change to the previously advertised programme, John Newth offers an illustrated presentation in which, as a recently retired engineer with Western Ferries, he will draw on his extensive experience of the dry-docking process - a sphere of activity in the annals of Clyde shipping history that has been little touched on in our winter talks. We hope members and friends - and anyone with an interest in the Clyde - will come early to have a pre-Christmas natter and see what Santa has for you in the Club shop. Due to unforeseen circumstances Gavin Stewart’s presidential address has been held over to a later date.
