Heydays at Stranraer

12Dec2018

Tom Hamilton’s illustrated talk will look back at the great days of the Wigtonshire port and the ships that plied from it.

From 7.30pm

At Jurys Inn

Jamaica Street, Glasgow G1 4QG

This is an ideal opportunity to find out about the shipping of a port that has always been on the periphery of Clyde sailings but played an historic role in Scotland’s cross-channel links, and became the home of many distinguished Clyde-built ships.

Entry is free and non-members are welcome: please arrive early to socialise in the ante-room on the first floor of Jurys Inn, where photographs are available for purchase.
