CRSC’s monthly meetings for 2025-26 begin with an illustrated talk by Mark Nicolson assessing the contribution of MV Isle of Lewis to CalMac services over the past 30 years. A decade ago Mark won considerable acclaim for his published biography of the ‘Lewis’. As the ship nears the end of her CalMac career, he brings his assessment up-to-date. Mark is a fluent speaker, and this talk is open to everyone with an interest in west of Scotland ferry services.
