CRSC monthly meeting: Ken Charleson, Chief Operating Officer of Hebridean Island Cruises, gives an illustrated talk about the luxury cruise ship that started life in 1964 as MacBrayne’s car ferry Columba.
From 7.30pm until 9.15pm
At Jurys Inn
Jamaica Street, Glasgow G1 4QG
Since her conversion in 1988 into a luxury cruise ship, Hebridean Princess has ranged further afield - and hosted more celebrated guests, including Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth - than she ever did as a MacBrayne car ferry. In this talk Ken Charleson will give us a flavour of life onboard and explain the reasons for the ship's enduring popularity. Non-members are welcome: please arrive early and take advantage of the opportunity to socialise before the start. A full diary of 2016-17 CRSC meetings can be found here.
