CalMac’s summer timetable runs from Friday 30 March to Sunday 21 October 2018. The most important changes are listed here.
Lochboisdale-Mallaig
Some departures from Lochboisdale have been changed to allow for better train connections. From Friday to Sunday the vessel will now leave the South Uist port at 6.20am. The departure time from Monday to Thursday remains 7am.
Stornoway-Ullapool
There will be two return sailings a day throughout the season, including Sunday, unlike last year when there was only one return sailing on a Sunday.
Uig-Lochmaddy/Tarbert
The peak-period timetable has been extended to 18 weeks, instead of 10 last summer.
Kennacraig-Port Askaig-Colonsay-Oban
On the Wednesday return sailing to Oban via Port Askaig and Colonsay, passengers will no longer need to change boats at Port Askaig on the return sailing.
There are some minor changes elsewhere. The Wednesday Oban-Coll-Tiree-Barra return sailing remains as last summer.
