Final Ardrossan-Campbeltown Sunday excursion

29Sep2019

MV Isle of Arran’s Sunday afternoon cruises to Campbeltown have proved popular with enthusiasts in recent summers. This is your final opportunity to take advantage of the trip to the Kintyre port in 2019.

The Sunday afternoon crossing to Campbeltown and back offers excursionists one of the best chances to savour the vistas of the lower Firth, with Arran, Pladda, Ailsa Craig and Davaar Island all within range, plus of course Campbeltown Loch itself. If you are lucky you may find MV Isle of Arran takes the circular route from Ardrossan -- outward via Kilbrannan Sound and returning via Pladda.

The cruise is non-landing, but there is usually plenty of quayside activity to watch from the deck during the vessel’s brief stopover at the Kintyre port.
