CalMac’s summer timetable runs until 18 October, and booking is now open for the winter timetable beginning on that date. Everyone is advised to check the service status at calmac.co.uk before setting out. If you have not booked before the day of travel, you can turn up and see if space is available. There is limited catering on ferries to Arran, Bute, Coll, Harris, Islay, Lewis, Mull, Tiree and Uist. The coffee cabin at Ardrossan ferry terminal is open.
