For ship enthusiasts, the principal source of interest is the opportunity the winter timetable gives to plan trips on routes where a two-ship service will operate while the regular vessel is undergoing overhaul - on the Ardrossan-Brodick service 3-25 January 2019 and the Uig triangle 20 February-14 March 2019.
