Through the window of his Dunoon home amateur photographer Robert Paterson captured a bygone era of the Clyde. Using his extraordinary photography collection the Scottish Maritime Museum looks back at the pleasure, innovation and tragedy that took place on these waters, opening a window onto the world of Clydebuilt ships. This exhibition, which closes on Wednesday 2 December, is well worth a visit.
