The Calendar celebrates past and present favourites of the Clyde and Hebridean fleets

CRSC has produced a glorious 2023 Calendar. You can buy it here.

The ever-popular Calendar is a must-have: it is a high-quality production that will grace the wall of any living room, kitchen or study.

The 2023 edition shows some stunning images (and lots of dates!). The back cover pays tribute to Queen Mary in her 90th anniversary year: one of the images shows her heading ‘doon the watter’ in 1969 as the Kingston Bridge nears completion.

Among the other pictures is Roy Paterson’s beautiful colour portrait of Coruisk approaching Armadale, and an impressive Stromier-Vogt photo of the CSP turbine steamer Marchioness of Graham arriving at Campbeltown in 1948.

The new Mull ferry Loch Frisa makes her Calendar debut, and there are archive photos commemorating the amalgamation of railway company fleets a century ago.

The presentation — and pictorial variety — of the 2023 Calendar is superb. By common consent it is every bit as stunning as last year’s. Order yours here while stocks last! It costs £14 post-free (£13 to paid-up CRSC members).

Compiled by Gordon Law, the Calendar is a joint production with the West Highland Steamer Club.

If you have not yet joined CRSC, you can do so here for £10 — and get all the advantages, including reduced price photo offer, full colour magazine and 88-page Review of west coast shipping. You won’t regret it!
