You are invited to join us for a three-ferry Spring excursion to Islay on Sunday 23rd April. We will leave Bishopton railway station by coach at 0800 (easy car parking/rail connection to Glasgow Central) to catch the 0900 Western Ferries departure from McInroy’s Point for Hunter’s Quay and onwards to Tarbert via Portavadie. After a quick stop in Tarbert and a short drive to Kennacraig, the 1300 ferry will take us to Port Askaig (Islay). The vessel will be berthed at Islay from 1505 to 1530 before retracing her route back to Kennacraig. Our coach will return us to Bishopton at approximately 2030.
