Due to the severe weather forecast for Saturday 11th, which is beyond CRSC’s control, we are having to postpone the Round Arran charter of MV Isle of Arran by one week.
The cruise will now take place on Saturday 18 January. Timings and itinerary remain the same.
CRSC apologises for any inconvenience caused. However, after studying the weather forecast for Saturday 11th, and in consultation with CalMac, it has been decided that a postponement is the best course of action to allow the cruise to go ahead — weather permitting. The safety of the ship and everyone on it must be the priority.
Bookings already received will have the same validity for Saturday 18 January. We hope you will still be able to join us on what promises to be an exceptional midwinter cruise.
Last year’s cruise also had to be postponed by a week, and we ended up enjoying a spectacular trip in clear, calm conditions.
If you have not yet booked and wish to do so for the 18th, please click here.
Tickets can be picked up from CRSCs Cruising Coordinator, Neil Guthrie, in the lounge area of the Ardrossan ferry terminal building between 09.50 and 10.30 on the morning of the charter.
If you have already paid and the change of date means you are unable to come on 18 January, you will be eligible for a refund. Please email cruising@crsc.org.uk by Sunday 12 January to say so. If we do not hear from you by then, we will assume you are willing to transfer your booking to the revised date.
We look forward to seeing you on the 18th. MV Isle of Arran will depart Ardrossan promptly at 11am and return at 4pm.
