The 2025 edition of Clyde Steamers takes ‘The Pioneers’ as its theme. The front cover, designed by Katie Smith Illustration, features images of Henry Bell, the 1889 Caledonia, MV Hallaig, the SR.N6 hovercraft and MV Pioneer. The magazine runs to 68 pages and is the first to have an article written by a serving CalMac master. Click on image to enlarge

The CRSC magazine’s new page 1 logo features Jeanie Deans in her 1931 LNER guise and the 1957 Glen Sannox in her CalMac livery, separated by the CSP and CalMac pennants. For many ship enthusiasts, these were iconic vessels of the postwar era on the Clyde. The front cover and page 1 logo are ©CRSC/Katie Smith Illustration
